a lil confused

Ok i installed stepmaniaonline, and got my songs in the song folder, but the problem im having is that in the options under network, it says connection failed....can someone plz tell how to connect, i would love to play against someone(if thats possible)

Do you have an account with teh StepMania Online forums? You need to make a profile under that name and then when you start the game, you will be asked for your password.

I've never, ever connected to SMO using the Network options.

yes i do, its playa622, and i did make a profile in the game...but i was neva prompted for a password

Right. The profile has to have the exact same name as that. Open up StepMania Online (NOT the normal Stepmania) and MAKE SURE that the profile you are using is the playa622 profile, and then start the game. You will go through all the normal options, adn then you will be prompted for your password. At that point, you'll enter 'The Lobby' and just go form there.

If this doen't work, Ionno what's going down.

well thanks for the help...im gonna try a reinstall of stepmania, and see if that may have been the reason....cuz i just got some errors when i loaded it :(

the reinstall helped just it doesnt accept my password now.....and i kno its the right password cuz i just created the username and password, and i just logged in like 1 min ago
